Caring for Your Board

Handcrafted with heart. Built to last.

No Paint. No Stain. Just Natural Wood.

Every cutting board is designed and handcrafted in my home shop in Perrin, TX using only natural, food-safe hardwoods—no stains, no paint, and no shortcuts.

I carefully select and arrange each piece of wood to create a board that’s both functional and visually striking. With the right care, it’ll last you for years to come.

Cleaning Your Board

  • Hand wash only using warm water and mild soap.

  • Never soak your board or put it in the dishwasher.

  • After washing, dry thoroughly with a towel.

  • Store your board on its edge to allow airflow on all sides and prevent warping.
(Boards that sit flat too long can warp due to uneven drying.)

Maintaining Your Board

Your board is made from real wood—and like your skin, it can dry out over time.

  • When it feels dry or starts to lose its shine, apply a coat of food-safe board butter or mineral oil.

  • Let it soak in for a few hours or overnight, then wipe off the excess.

💡 Pro tip: I make and sell my own handcrafted Board Butter—perfect for keeping your board nourished, water-resistant, and glowing. [Link to product page]

Refreshing Your Board

Got knife marks or dull spots? Don’t toss it—refresh it!

  • Light sanding can make your board look brand new again.

  • Not comfortable doing it yourself? Give me a call—I’ll gladly refresh it for you!
My goal is to keep your board looking and performing its best for the long haul.
